Tuesday Night Titans!!
Another Tuesday and another successful tournament. 71 players came out for the tournament and exhibited incredible control, only firing 65 rebuys. After the add-ons, we ended up with a prize pool of $3,410 to be awarded to our top 14 finishers.
With two tables and 15 players remaining, hand for hand play began. It became apparent quickly that nobody was interesting in finishing on the bubble and hand for hand play continued for an extended time. Finally, Ed Leo. (Binghamton, NY) found himself on the wrong end of a showdown and ended as the bubble boy. Not far behind Ed was Zawadi Yeb. (Johnson City, NY), finishing in 14th place and picking up $60. This was Zawadi’s sixth Tuesday Night cash of the year and her second in a month. Jack Dil. (Binghamton, NY) was the next player heading to the payout desk. Jack earned $60 for his 13th place finish. This was Jack’s second Tuesday Night cash of the year.
We had a small pay jump before Tim Ril. (Afton, NY) was the next elimination. Tim’s 12th place finish got him $80, for his sixth Tuesday Night cash and second in a row. Rob Cli. (Conklin, NY) hung in for an 11th place finish worth $80. This was Rob’s second straight Tuesday Night cash. Jackson Hoy. (Owego, NY) found his way back from a several month trip to the golf course and just missed the final table. Jackson’s pocketed $80 for his 10th place finish, his third Tuesday Night cash of the year.
The remaining players consolidated to the final table with a redraw for seating before play resumed. First timer Adam Bus. (Cortland, NY) started his staging.607poker.com/ career with a final table appearance, bowing out in 9th place and taking home $100. Arnie Ben. (Brackney, PA) was the next player heading to the payout desk. Arnie grabbed $120 for his 8th place finish, his fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Jack Gom. (Scranton, PA) logged his fifth Tuesday Night cash of the year with a 7th place finish that paid $140.
Roberto Vaz. (Scranton, PA) outlasted his running mate, posting a 6th place finish and collecting $170. This cash was Roberto's sixth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) was our 5th place finisher, pocketing $210. This was Nancy's thirteenth Tuesday Night cash of the year, taking over the top spot for # of cashes. Gavin Tut. worked his way to a 4th place finish worth $280 for his first Tuesday Night cash of the year. Not bad since he has only been playing with staging.607poker.com/ for a month.
Lucas Har. (Owego, NY) just missed being the first player to post three outright wins at 2 Rivers Social Club, finishing in 3rd place for a $415 payout. This was Lucas' eleventh Tuesday Night cash of the year and vaulted him back into the top spot for most Tuesday Night money won. The remaining two players agreed on a chop. Charlie Tri. (Port Crane, NY) posted an impressive debut, chopping half of the remaining prize pool for $805. This may have been Charlie's first tournament at staging.607poker.com/ but I am willing to bet it won't be his last! Jonny Mar. (Binghamton, NY) returned to the winner's circle after a couple of recent final table appearances. Jonny earned $810 for the chop, his nineth Tuesday Night cash of the year. This score puts Jonny in the top 5 Tuesday Night money winners.
Congrats to all of our players that took home some extra spending cash on Tuesday Night! We will be back at it on 9/16/26 at 5:30 so come out and take your shot at the next title!!
