Brotherly Domination!!!

Somedays, we run a tournament with 100 players and we decide that just isn’t enough, so we run another tournament that same day. Saturday was one of those days. Later in the day we ran a $55 buy-in No Limit Texas Hold Em tournament that included a $10 bounty on every entry. 38 players came out (or stayed out) and took a shot. 12 rebuys later, we had a prize pool of $2,040 to be paid out to our top 7 finishers.

We were down to 8 players at our final table when Matt Kel. (Little Meadows, PA) found himself as the bubble boy. At least Matt collected 2 bounties along the way! John Sut. (Ithaca, NY) was the first player to head to the payout desk. John picked up $80 for his 7th place finish but missed out on cashing any bounties.

Clarence Tho. was our next casualty, finishing in 6th place and collecting $100 for his efforts. Unfortunately Clarence did not pick up any bounties on his journey either. Wayne Win. (Johnson City, NY) posted his second cash of the day, finishing in 5th place for a $140 payout. Add in 4 bounties and Wayne had a solid day start to finish. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) put up his second cash of the week, exiting in 4th place and collecting $200 to go along with 4 bounties.

Jonny Mar. (Binghamton, NY) was our biggest bounty collector, picking up 9 bounties on his way to a 3rd place finish worth $315. This left Ed Leo. (Binghamton, NY) and Franklin Sag. (Endwell, NY) battling for the top spot. Pots were dragged and chips were exchanged but Ed bowed out in 2nd place, collecting $500 along with 6 bounties. This cash continued a recent hot streak for Ed and is his best finish to date at 607poker.com. Standing tall after the dust settled was Franklin, with a 1st place finish worth $705. Franklin picked up 7 bounties on his way to his second outright victory at 607poker.com this month. Congrats to Franklin for not letting his brother steal the entire Saturday spotlight!
